Rowthiram — Music Video
A journey through liminal spaces, using familiar cultural imagery made strange to mirror change, uncertainty and transition.

The music video for Rowthiram was built around the idea of liminal and transitional spaces, reflecting the song’s movement from one phase of life into another.
The visual language draws from culturally familiar imagery, but places it in settings that feel slightly displaced or unresolved. The aim was to create something recognisable without feeling conventional: familiar enough to locate the viewer, but disconcerting enough to reflect the mood of the track.
Made using Smode and digital paintings, the video moves through these in-between spaces as the song develops, using them to mirror ideas of change, uncertainty and transition.
